In a global marketplace, the need for checks and balances is paramount. Without it, how can we ensure consistency when it comes to quality assurance across industries and countries? With a universal template or set guidelines, we not only gain a level playing field but also can confirm quality. That’s where the ISO certification comes in.
What is the ISO Certification?
The ISO certification certifies that a management system, manufacturing process, service, or documentation procedure has all the requirements for standardized and quality assurance. The International Organization for Standardization or ISO is an independent, non-governmental, international organization that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems. These certifications exist across various industries and ensure consistency when it comes to quality. If a company bills themselves as “ISO 9001 Certified,” this means that the organization met the requirements designated under ISO 9001 which you can read in full here.
What Does “ISO Certified” Mean?
To be ISO certified means that you were audited by an independent third party and demonstrated that your organization conforms to the requirements of the latest quality process standards set by the International Standards Organization. This signifies that the processes work efficiently and effectively and are consistent with the international best practices and hence the customers are provided with an ease of mind.
CyanoGuard is ISO Certified
That comes to our last and main point, we are happy to announce that in July 2021 CyanoGuard AG’s cartridge production became ISO certified! Arguably one of our best feats this year and something we could not have done without the help of two leading engineers, Katarzyna Komassa and Flavia Krauer. “We are glad that we have succeeded. It was not always easy to set up complete processes and documentations alongside maintaining production. This was possible because the entire team got involved and supported us - many thanks for that. However, implementing a quality management system is by far not the main work. Our task now will be to constantly improve it and to make new employees understand its importance.,” said Katarzyna. “It was always important to us that the QMS has an enriching function and does not put administrative obstacles in our way in production. We think we have succeeded in this, since many process steps only had to be written down, but were actually already being physically in place.”, added Flavia.
From all of us here at CyanoGuard, we would like to thank our great team and the ISO members for proving CyanoGuard remains committed to the highest standards in serving our customers.
